Mike has more than a decade of experience connecting Minnesota local government agencies with the resources, research, and talent the University of Minnesota has to offer. He has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the U of MN's Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with a specialization in environmental planning and sustainability, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, raising chickens, and hiking on the farm he and his wife call home. When he's not outdoors, you may find him cooking, playing guitar, catching live music, attending local theater, or curling at the Dakota Curling Club in Lakeville.

Sarah comes to RCP from the U of MN's Learning Abroad Center, where her work centered on creating experiential learning opportunities, facilitating external partnerships, student services, and faculty development. She was previously a board member for HECUA: Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs, where she supported academic-community partnerships for social change. Sarah has a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Administration with a focus in intercultural and international education from the University of Minnesota and studied Communication at the College of St. Benedict. Sarah is a bike and walk advocate who serves on the board of Our Streets Minneapolis and loves being involved in building community through advocating for spaces designed for people. She is active with her neighborhood association, enjoys volunteering for local political campaigns, and is a passionate gardener who believes in the power of the front yard.
