Traveling to RCP/CURA
We encourage guests to consider using alternative modes of transportation to travel to CURA.
Bus or light rail: The West Bank stop on the Green Line LRT is one block from the Humphrey Building on 19th Avenue South. There are also dozens of transit routes that stop within a one- to two-block walk of CURA. Visit the MetroTransit Trip Planner page to identify the best transit route from your location. If you are on or near campus, the Campus Connector and Campus Circulator also provide regular free bus service to and from the West Bank, East Bank, and St. Paul campuses.
Biking or walking: U of MN Parking and Transportation Services web page provides maps and other resources for walking or biking to and around campus.
Driving: For those who choose to drive, please consider carpooling if more than one visitor will be traveling to CURA from the same location. Driving directions can be found below.
Directions
Going west on I-94: Take the Cedar Avenue exit and turn right at the stoplight. Take a right onto 3rd Street. The Humphrey Building is in front of you at the corner of 3rd Street and 19th Avenue S.
Going east on I-94: Follow I-94 east to I-35W north to the U of M West Bank exit, 17C. Take a right onto Washington Avenue. Continue through the stoplight and follow the curve right onto Cedar Avenue. Turn left on 3rd Street South. The Humphrey Building is in front of you at the corner of 3rd Street and 19th Avenue.
Going north on I-35W: Follow I-35W north to the U of M West Bank exit, 17C. Take a right onto Washington Avenue. Continue through the stoplight and follow the curve right onto Cedar Avenue. Turn left on 3rd Street South. The Humphrey Building is in front of you at the corner of 3rd Street and 19th Avenue.
Going south on I-35W: Follow I-35W south to the University Avenue/Fourth St. exit. Take a left onto University Avenue. Take a right onto 10th Avenue, which will turn into 19th Avenue. The Humphrey Building is on your left at the corner of 19th Avenue and 3rd Street.
